You got a blog, you started posting frequently and you got some readers too. Now what...?? Why not start making some money, some extra bucks with your traffic and your blog?
That was my thought so I started looking for opportunities to create some income from my blog. Then I figured that lots of people are posting paid content, reviews and making some real money with their blog through PayPerPost. Why shouldn't I try that?
So I signed up for PayPerPost and registered my blog. It was a real easy process. But the blog approval takes some time because they have some condition that should be fulfilled to get approval. The main condition was though that the blog should contain original content and it should not be just created for paid reviews only. The blog should have also existed for some time.
My blog satisfied all their conditions and soon it was approved.
The things through which you can earn money on PayPerPost are:
  1. Referral Program:
Refer other bloggers to PayPerPost and earn money.
  2. Get your blog post reviewed:
Get your posts reviewed by other bloggers and get paid
  3. PayPerPost Direct:
Let the advertisers contact your directly. You write a review about their products and get paid through PayPerPost.
    Hire Me Direct
So there are lots of opportunities out there to earn some extra money from your blog. But some people say that posting paid contents on your blog affects your Google Page Rank. So if you are not worried about PR, then PPP is the way to go.
If you also want to earn some money, you can sign up below:

Web 2.0 Directory - A complete review blog

Posted by Anurag Bansal in , ,

Today I brought you a very well maintained Web 2.0 Directory for web based applications and useful review site. These days everything is happening online. Hundreds of new useful website are being created everyday. It becomes very tough to know which utility website contains good features or is there anything worth giving it a try.
Web 2.0 Directory blog provides you a facility to see if the site has been reviewed or not. If yes, you are in luck, read the review and see if it might be useful for you. Or if you want to plan for next holiday destination, you can search this website/blog. There are over 2,400 different reviews of online operating systems, word processors or spreadsheets, speech recognition tools, Photo or video albums, loans and mortgages sites, real estate or vacation rental sites. Who knows you get a beautiful review of some website you are planning to check. Before registering for the service, check this blog first.
First of all I congratulate the author for this wonderful blog. You have a really well maintained blog with a solid reader base.
Couple of suggestions I would like to make:
  • Please do a Spell check before posting.
  • There are couple of grammatical mistakes, so please try to improve on English.
  • Provide a blog description on the top near blog title, if possible.

Get the Lowest Car Insurance Quote in just 5 minutes

Posted by Anurag Bansal in , , ,

  • Have you always been looking for cheap car insurance rates?
  • Do you know all kinds of options you may have when looking for car insurance?
  • Do you feel, you are paying more than what you should be paying for your car insurance?
You can get all your questions answered in just 5 minutes by visiting carinsurancerates.com.

This is a very cool site and the interface is very clean. Just start by entering the zip code you live in and fill in your information. Car Inurance rates will provide you the cheapest options you may have for your car.
As a matter of fact it will provide you various option such as liability, deduction and so on to lower down your rates. If you feel you are a safe driver and doesn't need to keep your deduction low, raise it and your premium will come down a lot. The other thing your premium depends is the maturity in your driving skill, means how long you have been driving a car. If you are a new driver then you might get a higher premium for the same car as compared to an matured driver.
At the same time if you have specific questions about your insurance then you can just drop in your question and they will come back to you with a specific answer. Isn't it cool?
There is a Car Insurance Guide also which you can go through to get more details on online auto insurance. There is one Question and Answer tab also on the site where lots of questions are already answered. So you can go through them as well. You may even call them to find out more at 1.800.986.1643. And yes, this is a Hacker safe website, so don't worry about getting your personal information in wrong hands.
You may even consider other insurance as well such as Home Insurance, Health Insurance, Life Insurance and Renter's Insurance. There are lots of options available for you to go through.
So what are you waiting for...nothing harms in at least trying if you can get a better rate than your current insurance company. May be you get a better deal....Right.

Feedburner : Sudden Subscriber Count Increase

Posted by Anurag Bansal in , , ,

Has any of you noticed the same thing as I have?

Yesterday the # of subscriber on this blog were somewhere around 41, but today suddenly it increased to an unbelievable # of 16,107. That is kind of surprising. Most surprising thing is, out of this 16,107 subsribers, 16,061 are from Feedblitz. That makes 100% of my subscribers coming from Feedblitz only. So I feel like there is some problem in the reporting mechanism either from Feedblitz or in Feedburner itself.

And if, this # is true, then I am really happy to see so many people subscribing to my blog.
Thank you for subscribing to Blog of Knowledge. Have fun.

Bring Vegas Home - Play in Online Casino

Posted by Anurag Bansal in , , , , , , ,

Why do people go to Vegas? Though there might be thousand reasons but generally for gambling in Casino. What if you could bring that casino home? What if you don't have to even invest money to learn and play?

Generally when you go to Vegas, most of the games you don't even have a clue how to play. So you try to learn it quickly in that duration and then try your luck with real money. Most of the times, you will not win as you don't know the tricks of the game. And by the time you learn the tricks, you have already lost a significant amount. (You are really lucky if you won.)

So to avoid all that risk and to perform better in actual Vegas casino, you can learn to play in online casino. Once you have got hold of that game with Free money, you can bet with real money also. That will make you an expert before you actually play in any casino for real money with real people and real dealer.

Though there are various online resources which let you do all that. But what if there is someone who can tell which online web-site is the best to play online and where it is easy and safe to play without any risk.

Pro360.com is one of them where there are reviews about almost all online gaming web-sites. The reviews provide you details as much as possible. Whichever game you want to play just click on that icon and it will tell you which is good web-site for that and a little review about that. Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, Craps or even slots, everything you will get there.

I personally like to play Blackjack and Roulette, so I preferred Rushmore. There I could play for Free any game I wanted. The games load pretty fast and the interface is so easy to navigate. If you want you can even download the game on you PC.

So next time when you think of playing online, checkout that web-site.

Want to earn money from Blogging?

Posted by Anurag Bansal in , , , ,

You might have already heard about lots of ways of making money online. Have you ever tried making money from blogging? If no, I can tell you an easy way of making money from blogging. I found an advertising service, Smorty, which connects advertisers and bloggers. Bloggers are paid to write review posts with links back to the advertisers site.

With other similar services out there for blogger, there is always a target to be met. Unless that target is met, you won't be paid. Similar is the case with widgetbucks, Google Adsense where the target is around $50 before you will be paid. The bad thing about that is if your blog traffic is not high enough, it might take years for you to reach the target. For these cases Smorty is a better option to go.

Because with Smorty, you get paid weekly for whatever jobs you have completed and got approved for through PayPal. So you can earn money as soon as you finish your job.

What you have to do with Smorty?

  1. Get yourself registered by following the link provided here.
  2. Enter your blog details.
  3. Get your blog approved.
  4. Explore the opportunities available.
  5. Write review about the products and services available.
  6. Update the task details by submitting the post you have written.
  7. Get the post approved.
  8. The assigned money is transferred to your PayPal account.
  9. That's it.
  10. You can do it as many times as you want on your blog and earn money from blogging.

So if you also want to earn some extra money from blogging or may be if you are interested in blog advertising then register yourself with Smorty or at least give it a try. I have already got paid twice in the last two weeks.

Is your web-site or web application secure?

Posted by Anurag Bansal in , , , , , ,

May be it is secure, may be it is not. But have you ever thought that in today's hi-tech world when everyone and everything is moving to the web then may be hackers or ill-will people too have moved that fast.

If you have created some excellent web application and someone hacked the system. Your entire effort, time and money is lost. Because everything on the web travels with sonic speed. You will never know when your content or application has traveled the other part of the world without even your permission.

Believe me, people are being paid for that activity and it is becoming mainstream. So why not make sure your web-site is safe and secure. Your client data and customer information is safe. The answer for all that is : Get the Penetration testing done.

Experts at Plynt utilizes tools and techniques that are constantly updated to include all known threats and risks which means that after your application is Plynt tested & certified, it can be used with the absolute assurance that it is secure. You don't have to worry about network security testing.

Have you ever tried WidgetBucks on your blog?  If you have then you know what I am talking about.  After so many people in Blogosphere including ProBlogger recommended WidgetBucks, I thought of giving it a try.  But it really sucks.

imageEvery time I placed WidgetBucks widgets on my blogs, the pages started loading very slowly.  The browser itself kind of hangs and after a couple of seconds it comes live.  Current 2GB-4GB RAM machines will at least sustain that load on the browser but what about the other readers who are not so technology freak.

The ads also don't give any major incentive, impressions are also less or may be they are not being reported properly.  On the payment part also, there is a target you need to fulfill before you will be paid.  I mean frankly, WidgetBucks is not gonna work for me unless they improve their ads or the way ads are displayed.

But if you want to give it a try, then go ahead and register yourself.  As a signup bonus, you will get $25 also.  They have some affiliate program also.

Earn $$ with WidgetBucks!

Let me know if you agree with me or if you differ, then what did you do to make it work for you.

Would you like to get paid for blogging? Would you love to earn some extra bucks from blogging? Do you find yourself interested in blog advertising?

There is a good advertising service, Smorty, which helps connecting advertisers with bloggers. Advertisers pay bloggers to write opinion posts with links back to the advertisers site. Some cool things about Smorty are as follows:

  1. Just create an account with your blog details; get approved.
  2. You get paid weekly through PayPal. (No more $50 and $100 targets.) (I have already been paid twice so far in two weeks.)
  3. You have the full control on who you would advertise on your blog.
  4. You don't need to learn any HTML or modify any template.

If you like to try that then, register yourself with Smorty and get paid for blogging by writing reviews about products and websites on your blog.
